Food production

Paddy is one of the notable crops produced in Subil Union. Jute is next to paddy. The next agricultural products to be named are pulses like masakalai, pea, gram etc. Oilseeds include mustard and sesame. Kaun, china, dhunda, wheat, barley are the national food grains produced. Notable fruits here are footi (watermelon), watermelon, kheera etc. Besides, mango, blackberry, jackfruit, guava, coconut, betel nut, palm, date, grapefruit (batabi lemon), lemon, tamarind, kamaranga, olive, bell, pomegranate, quince etc. are also produced in large quantities in this district. Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Coriander, Ginger etc. Spicy Cereals, Gourd, Sweet Pumpkin, Rice Pumpkin, Uchche, Karala, Chichinga, Shrimp, Zucchini, Bean, Barbati, Cockroach, Dherash, Round Potato, Eggplant, Tomato Cauliflower, Cabbage etc. Vegetables are produced in large quantities.
