Union Health Center

Necessary health services are provided to all the men, women, old and young children who come to the health center.

* ORS is provided for diarrhea patients.

* Maternity patients arriving at the hospital are given necessary advice including antenatal checkup and

iron tablets are provided.

* Children and women are vaccinated under EPI program.

* Health, nutrition and reproductive health education is given to the patients coming to the health center.

* Reproductive health and family planning activities are conducted among adolescents

and able couples who come to the health center.

* If necessary, the patient is referred to the Upzila Hospital.

* Incoming patients and their relatives can easily contact the concerned doctors for

necessary advice and counseling about health services.

* Subject to supply, medicines are provided free of cost from the service center. However, any medication required

for treatment may have to be purchased by the client from outside the health center.

* Duties of the service recipient-

Service providers have the right to receive courtesy from the service recipient.
